Pots in Use

It’s always so fun to get photos of my pots in use at their new homes.  Marv and Carol Eggert who operate an wonderful bed and breakfast in Lanesboro Minnesota called Hillcrest Hideaway were very kind to send me a photo of my little flower pots in use.

The ham and egg dish Carol made looks just delicious with its flower accent in this little flower pot.  I think they would be very useful for muffins as well.  Thanks for sharing the photo Marv!!

Lanesboro Local

Congratulations to Lanesboro Local on their fun and well attended Grand Opening this past weekend.  Visitors received samples of the delicious food items offered at the Lanesboro Local and artists represented by the Local provided demonstrations to show how their beautiful pieces are made.

I spent the afternoon demonstrating throwing pots and visiting with those passing by.  There were lots of great questions and positive comments from those who have seen my work at the Local.  It’s always fun to hear from people who use and enjoy the pieces you’ve made.

Good luck at your new location Lanesboro Local!!

2013 Wood Fire Workshop

Join me for a wood firing workshop in picturesque Lanesboro Minnesota.  We’ll be glazing, loading and firing a bourry box wood-fired kiln over the weekend of May 31 – June 2 and unloading the following Saturday, June 8.

It’s an excellent opportunity to try this dynamic firing method and enjoy the company of other potters at a quiet, beautiful location in SE Minnesota.
